Hey there friends, colleagues, clients and collaborators - It’s your pal Kat, Owner + Operator of kat&co.

A common question that I get when I am pitching my services is:

How do you know where to start when there are multiple “issues” happening at once?

Well, throughout my journey of business ownership I have learned a variety of things about myself… but perhaps the most important is how my brain works. I am both a systems thinker and a translator:

A “systems thinker” is someone who analyzes complex situations by focusing on the interconnectedness and interdependencies of all parts, rather than treating them as isolated components.

A “translator” is someone who excels at turning complex ideas into simple, clear messages, while being able to tailor the information to be received by a variety of different teams.

So, when I hear:

The reality is that everything in your business is already interconnected…

Sometimes you just need someone outside of your organization to recognize, tackle, and spot the interdependencies in a holistic way so we can begin tackling the “issues” one at a time!
